​Janel Meindersee, Elder Clara Growing up in Vancouver, Washington, Janel Meindersee received her formal training at The School of Oregon Ballet Theatre under the direction of Damara Bennett. After training in the school for five years, and dancing as an apprentice with the company for one season, Meindersee went on to dance as a Company Artist with Nevada Ballet Theatre for two seasons. In 2011 Meindersee joined Milwaukee Ballet, under the direction of Michael Pink. Throughout her time in the Company, she had the honor of performing in Matthew Neenan’s The Last Glass, Amy Seiwert's Requiem and In Passing (world premiere), the Snow Queen in Michael Pink’s The Nutcracker, the Queen of the Dryads in Michael Pink's Don Quixote, the Spanish Princess in Michael Pink’s Swan Lake, Trey McIntyre's A Day in the Life, Mark Godden’s Angels in the Architecture, and Septime Webre's ALICE (in Wonderland), among others. After 7 seasons with Milwaukee Ballet, Meindersee now lives in Madison, while she studies full time at the University of Wisconsin and continues to work as a freelance artist. She is excited to continue her work with NEWDO as she dances in her third Green Bay Nutcracker Ballet.


​Adam Chavis, Cavalier Adam received his ballet training from the School of American Ballet and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, as well as summer study with the, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.  
Adam was a soloist with Carolina Ballet from 2009-2017.  Guest performances include UNC-Chapel Hill, Appalachian State University, Ballet Hawaii, East Carolina University, The Guggenheim Museum in New York City, Raleigh School of Ballet, and the North Carolina Museum of Art.  Adam has worked as a guest artist and teacher for City Ballet of Wilmington, North Carolina State Ballet, and Duke University.  
He received his Bachelor of Psychology from William Peace University in 2017.  Adam is pursuing a Masters degree of Social work and Clinical counseling.  He has worked with the LGBT Center of Raleigh, Autism Society of NC as a support professional, and currently working with HopeLine NC as a crisis counselor.

Randi Osetek, Sugar Plum Fairy ​Randi Osetek was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was trained in Chicago, Illinois and Green Bay, Wisconsin before accepting a scholarship to study at the School of American Ballet in New York City.  Ms. Osetek completed her training with Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle where she performed regularly with the company.  Ms. Osetek has made guest appearances throughout the United States.  Ms. Osetek joined Carolina Ballet in 2002 as a member of the corps de ballet and was promoted to Soloist in 2008.  Ms. Osetek credits her love of dance to a few special teachers including Timothy Josephs and Jane Meredith at the Green Bay School of Dance, and Susan Pilarre and Suki Schorer at the School of American Ballet.  Ms. Osetek enjoys travel, the beach, everything Disney, designer shoes, and the Green Bay Packers.

Erik Johnson, The Nutcracker Prince Raised in Marengo, Illinois, Erik Johnson received his early training at The Judith Svalander School of Ballet. He received additional training from the Sarasota Ballet School in Florida. In 2009, he attended the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater Graduate Program. In 2010, he joined The Rochester City Ballet. In 2012, Johnson joined Milwaukee Ballet. Johnson is excited to be dancing in his seventh season with Milwaukee Ballet Company.
